Norsol
Norsol embodies simplicity and authenticity, capturing the essence of Scandinavian lodges nestled amidst the tranquility of nature. Presented as a challenge by Designer Briefs, the brand identity aimed to evoke a sense of premium quality, sophistication, and timelessness. However, it was equally important to maintain a relatable, personable, and organic feel.
To achieve this balance, I drew inspiration from the clean lines and natural materials inherent in Scandinavian design. The brand identity utilises a rounded font and incorporates oval shapes throughout. This intentional design choice creates a softer aesthetic, making Norsol feel approachable and inviting. Additionally, the colour palette could be described here (e.g., earthy tones reflecting nature, calming blues for tranquility).
